Board of Adjustment memorializes two variance approvals

Board of Adjustment · Meeting of April 16, 2026

NJ HANOVER — Board of Adjustment memorializes variances for group home and commercial expansion. The board voted 3-0 on memorialized resolutions for ARC Morris' six-bedroom group home facility at Mountain Ave. in Cedar Knolls with parking for five vehicles, and Ship It Holdings LLC's commercial expansion at South Jefferson Rd. in Whippany certifying existing nonconforming heating and cooling contractor use. The group home variance allows construction with driveway and walkways across two parcels.

Both applications were originally approved with conditions on March 19 and formally finalized April 16.
