Committee hears World Cup economic development presentation

NJ HANOVER — The Economic Development Advisory Committee heard a presentation on World Cup economic opportunities estimated at 3 billion dollars for New Jersey. Elisa Charters of Juegos AI Lab presented the JUEGOS platform enabling small businesses to create profiles, manage events, and promote their promotions. The committee discussed revenue generation possibilities through police and traffic management event fees, local watch parties, and business collaborations with Morris County and the Chamber of Commerce.
Members also explored developing a local business database and engaging a consultant for a regional economic report to identify growth opportunities.
