Hanover Committee Reelects Gallagher Mayor, Approves 26 Resolutions

NJ HANOVER — Hanover Committee reelects Gallagher mayor, approves 26 standard resolutions. Thomas "Ace" Gallagher received all five votes in a unanimous election to serve as mayor and chairman for 2026, with Michael A. Mihalko similarly elected deputy mayor and vice chairman.
The committee unanimously approved a consent agenda of 26 resolutions authorizing standard municipal operations, including reappointments of Township Attorney Fred Semrau and Business Administrator Joseph A. Giorgio, designations of depositories and investment officials, and authorizations for professional services. Committee member Ronald F.
Francioli announced this would be his final term, concluding a 48-year tenure spanning 16 terms on the committee.
