Hanover introduces salary incentive plan, three ordinances

NJ HANOVER — Hanover Township Committee introduces $2,500 salary incentive plan in three ordinances. The committee unanimously approved seven resolutions and bill payments totaling $8,837,787.54. Mayor Gallagher led the committee's action on Ordinance No. 1-2026, which establishes salary incentives for lower-paid employees across seven departments, contingent on satisfactory performance evaluations due March 31.

The committee also introduced ordinances updating police department authorization levels and delegating raffle and bingo license approval to the Township Clerk; all ordinances advance to public hearing February 12.
