NJ HANOVER — Hanover Recreation Commission affirms Brickyard plaque plan, rejects painting. The commission voted unanimously to reject the Landmark Commission's proposal to paint the twin tunnel facades at Brickyard Field jet black, instead reaffirming its plan for a historical plaque with QR codes and photographs. Pool membership increased to 656 from 612 last season; the swim team accepted 139 swimmers out of 184 tryouts.
Central Park's completed hockey rink opens June 20, and a bicycle safety event is scheduled June 27 at Malapardis Park.
