NJ HANOVER — Hanover Recreation Commission hears positive program reports, addresses facility complaints, and adjusts meeting schedule. Superintendent Tom Quirk reported that 2026 summer camps are running smoothly under Camp Director Danielle Calabro and that Bee Meadow Pool memberships have increased in all categories compared to prior year. The Commission received persistent complaints about pool concession-stand staffing and menu shortages.
Staff are exploring a Chevy Equinox within the $40,000 budget to replace aging Dial-A-Ride vehicles instead of a $50,000-to-$52,000 minivan option. Members agreed to move the regular meeting start time from 7:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
