Hanover Sewerage Authority approves industrial permit fee increases

NJ HANOVER — Hanover Sewerage Authority establishes new tiered industrial discharge permit rates for 2026. The Authority unanimously voted Tuesday to adopt a three-tiered fee schedule with toxicity cost charges of $93.49, $108.83, and $125.68 per point, effective December 1, 2025. A public hearing is set for July 22 at 8:30 p.m.
The Authority also approved a fuel surcharge adjustment to its sludge removal and trucking contract with Waste Management of New Jersey, Inc., accounting for fuel cost increases exceeding 5 percent since the December 2025 contract award.
