Hanover Wellness Committee Outlines Spring Health and Safety Programs

NJ HANOVER — Hanover wellness committee plans domestic violence awareness event. The Mayor's Wellness Campaign Steering & Advisory Committee announced a June 6 open house for Kelly's K9s foundation, which matches domestic abuse survivors with rescue dogs, following a presentation by founder Kelly Sutcliff. Superintendent Maria Carroll of Hanover Park Regional High School District expressed interest in developing domestic violence awareness programming for high schools.
The committee outlined additional spring programming including Narcan Training on March 27, a kickball game for grades 3-5 on March 20, and a developing self-defense and situational awareness program for high school and middle school students using instructor Sensei Zach Merkey.
