Quirk reappointed; leadership roles confirmed

NJ HANOVER — Recreation Commission reappoints Quirk in unanimous reorganization. The Commission unanimously reappointed Thomas Quirk as Superintendent of Recreation and Parks Administration, with Jim Coiley continuing as Chairman and Commissioner B. Brueno as Vice-Chairman.
The Commission approved the 2026 Recreation and Field Fees and authorized a $21,000 change order for splash pad drainage modification. Pool Manager Eddie Cashen proposed closing the pool thirty minutes earlier during June and July, reducing staffing costs by approximately $1,400, which commissioners supported.
