NJ HANOVER — Stoneybrook Farm & Garden Committee cancels planned expansion, approves summer maintenance plan. The committee met on site on May 21 to address neighbor concerns over maintenance and garden appearance. Members approved a cleanup plan including fence-line work, debris removal, and organic weed control, with new garden plots to be framed in uniform wood edging.
Chairperson V. Bolcar-Navarro agreed to contact the Verona Community Garden for guidance on neighbor relations; the committee will reach out to six neighbors on the adjacent street to explain organic practices. Liaison R.
Francioli announced the garden expansion will not proceed. Member B. Hinck reported the garden donated 1,200 pounds of produce to the Inter-Faith Food Pantry.
