Wellness committee confirms subcommittees, schedules spring programming

NJ HANOVER — The Mayor's Wellness Campaign Steering Committee confirms subcommittee structure and schedules spring events. Mayor Thomas "Ace" Gallagher presided, confirming assignments for Families and Schools (Linda Oakes, Christine Egbert, Christine Amoresano, and Angela Hark), Public Relations (James Hark Sr. and Carol Giorgio), Senior Citizens (Mayor Gallagher, Superintendent Justin Toomey, and Ava Ventrone), and Toddlers (Tammy Thomas and Angela Hark) subcommittees. Co-chair Brittany Heffler will establish a dedicated Facebook page by February's end.
The committee scheduled a Youth Focus Group for February 7, a Bike Safety Program for April, a community Kickball event for March 20, and discussed a situational awareness and self-defense program involving law enforcement and community partners.
